Delete your account

You can delete your HomeLoop account and all your personal data at any time, directly from the app. Here's how to do it and what happens to your information.
How to delete your account from the app
Follow these steps in the HomeLoop mobile app:
- Open HomeLoop and sign in to your account.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- In the Account section, tap “Delete account”.
- Confirm the deletion. Your account will be closed immediately.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your account and profile: email, name, photo and user identifier.
- Your tasks, time blocks, schedules and dependencies.
- Your family group membership and, if you are the owner, the group you created.
- Notification tokens and device preferences.
- Usage records linked to your account.
What is kept and why
Due to legal obligations, a limited set of information is retained after deletion:
- Subscription billing records: unlinked from your identity and kept for up to 6 years, as required by Spanish tax law.
- Audit logs: kept for up to 12 months for security and compliance reasons.
- All other personal and usage data is deleted within a maximum of 30 days.
Can't access the app?
If you can't sign in or no longer have the app installed, email us at privacy@gethomeloop.com and we'll handle your account deletion. We'll respond within 30 days.
